It was an effortless Champions League Final march, as Real Madrid hammers Juventus to retain the cup, making them the Champions League winner for the 12th time.
Christiano Ronaldo continued his impressive performance in the final, as he opened the scoring with just 20 minutes on the clock , making it a total of 600 goals in his career so far. His opening goal which set the stage for a dominant night by the Spanish power house lasted just 7 minutes, as the Italians’ big attacker, Mario Mandzukic brought the traveling Juventus fan to their feet with a magnificent overhead kick, after being afforded space by the duo of Dani Carvajal and Casemiro.
The match which ended in favor of Real Madrid saw Juventus attacker, Juan Cuadrado sent off 84minutes into the game, leaving them with just ten men as the Spanish giant continued to dominate the 4-1 lead in the second half, making them the winner of the 2017 UEFA Champions League.
