POEM: Bastards of Neverland

Ejected through nature,

But rejected by the world,
They cry so loud,
But none can hear them
I weep for lost souls!

In abundance, they still beg for food!
They cling to last pennies,
Like a Lion clutching to its meal!
Water is life?
But to them, water is a lifetime.

Lonely ones now the Clowns of society!
Lurking round the streets,
Performing acts just to get currencies in return,
High audience, but low interest.

Yes, they are Bastards,
But Society, their Parents!
Hope, a tree of promising fruits.
Point Blank; “Children of Society”.
